Takeoff and Annotation Permissions control how users interact with measurements and markups within STACK Takeoff & Estimate.
These permissions define who can create, edit, and manage takeoffs and annotations on plan sheets.

Takeoff and Annotation Permissions apply within each project
Permissions can be granted or restricted using User Permissions
Some roles include these permissions by default
Users must have access to a project to interact with takeoffs or annotations
Takeoff Permissions
Takeoff Permissions control how users create and manage measurements on plan sheets.
IMPORTANT
Takeoffs are created and managed within plan sheets.
Deleting a takeoff permanently removes the measurement.
Users must have access to a project to create or edit takeoffs.

Takeoff capabilities are included in specific roles and are not available to viewer roles.

Takeoff Permissions are assigned through User Permissions and may be:
Included by default in Full-Access roles
Enabled or restricted depending on the user’s responsibilities
Annotation Permissions
Annotation Permissions control how users add and manage markups on plan sheets.
Annotations include items such as notes, symbols, and other visual markups used to communicate information.
IMPORTANT
Annotation visibility may depend on additional settings such as layers or sharing.
Deleting annotations permanently removes them.
Some annotation actions may be limited based on ownership or permissions.
