Export a completed Estimate Worksheet from STACK to NetSuite to create a new Estimate record. Estimate line items and customer information are transferred directly, reducing manual data entry and helping keep estimate information consistent between STACK and NetSuite.
In NetSuite, an Estimate is the equivalent of a sales quote or proposal.
Key Information
- The NetSuite integration must be connected before an Estimate Worksheet can be exported.
- Each export creates a new Estimate record in NetSuite.
- A NetSuite customer must be selected during the export.
- The subsidiary associated with the selected customer is automatically applied. A subsidiary does not need to be selected separately.
- Customer records are imported from NetSuite into STACK.
- Estimate information is exported from STACK to NetSuite. Changes made to the Estimate in NetSuite are not synchronized back to STACK.
- The NetSuite integration is only available to Estimators, Account owners or Office managers.
Connect STACK to NetSuite
- Open an estimate worksheet.
- Click the three dots menu on the upper right.
- Select Export.
- Choose Setup a new connection.
- Use the search bar to find NetSuite.
- Click Connect.
- Enter your credentials and click Connect.
Before Exporting an Estimate Worksheet
Before exporting, verify that:
- The NetSuite integration is connected to STACK.
- NetSuite customer records have been imported into STACK.
- The appropriate NetSuite customer is available for selection.
- The Estimate Worksheet contains the required items, quantities, units, and unit costs.
Information Exported to NetSuite
STACK creates a new Estimate in NetSuite and includes the following information.

The subsidiary is retrieved from the selected NetSuite customer during the export, with no separate subsidiary selection, and each Estimate Worksheet line is exported individually.
Exporting an Estimate Worksheet to NetSuite
- Open the Estimate Worksheet to export.
- Click the three dots menu in the upper right.
- Select Export.
- Select NetSuite.
- Complete any additional export options displayed.
- Click Export.
- Select the appropriate NetSuite customer from the Customer dropdown.
- Click Export.
STACK retrieves the subsidiary associated with the selected customer and creates a new Estimate in NetSuite and provides a direct link to the new NetSuite Estimate.
After Exporting
Open NetSuite and review the new Estimate to verify the customer, subsidiary, items, quantities, units, and rates.
NOTE
Exporting the same Estimate Worksheet more than once creates duplicate NetSuite Estimates.
IMPORTANT
Each export creates a new Estimate record in NetSuite. The export does not update an existing NetSuite Estimate.
Troubleshooting
The NetSuite Customer Is Not Available
Only customer records imported from NetSuite are available for selection during the export.
Refresh the Netsuite instance or reconnect Netsuite by following the connect STACK to Netsuite instructions.
A Subsidiary Cannot Be Identified
The subsidiary is determined from the selected customer’s NetSuite record. Verify that the customer is associated with the correct subsidiary in NetSuite.
The Estimate Cannot Be Exported
Verify that the NetSuite integration is connected and that all required Estimate Worksheet information is available.
Unit of Measure error (The unit of measure in Netsuite has to match to STACK.
