Here are 8 recent features that help Framing/Drywall/Paint & Interior Finishes work faster in STACK.
Detect Symbols
Mark one symbol on a plan, and STACK's AI finds every match on the sheet and adds the counts to your takeoff. Saved symbols can be reused on other sheets.
Typicals
Measure a repeating unit once, then mark everywhere it repeats. STACK multiplies the quantities for you, and labels let you break the totals out by floor, phase or category.
Quantity Breakouts by Measurement Inputs
Turn on columns for the measurement inputs you used while drawing, like wall height, drop length or pitch, to see exactly how your quantities break down without creating separate takeoffs.
Polyline Multiselect
Click to trace a shape around exactly the measurements you want, then double-click to close it. Everything inside or touching the boundary is selected, which is ideal for tightly packed takeoffs where a rectangle grabs too much.
Snap to Plans
Snap your measurements to the lines and corners of the plan itself, not just to other measurements, for faster and more precise takeoff.
New for Every Trade
These features help every STACK customer, whatever your trade.
Assembly Defaults
Set default values for an assembly's custom variables and default picks for its item groups. When you attach the assembly to a takeoff, those defaults come along, ready to use and easy to change.
Item Formulas
Give any item its own Excel-style formula using your measurement variables, right where you attach it to a takeoff. No assembly needed.
Self-Serve Item Import
Add new items or update existing ones yourself from a file, right in your library settings. STACK checks the file before anything imports, and you can revert the last import in a click.
