Cristal's Gem Tips - Document, Document, Document!

Hey STACK fam! 👷‍♀️👷‍♂️

Next time you’re doing a site walk-through, make sure to log in to your STACK account from your mobile device. Why? Because keeping all your jobsite photos and documents in one place = peace of mind. 🧠💡

Use the Supporting Documents folder (yep, it’s there by default!) to:
📸 Snap and save site photos
📄 Upload related docs like Excel spreadsheets, PDFs, permits, and more
☁️ Take advantage of STACK’s unlimited cloud storage

Here’s how to do it on your phone:

  1. Open your mobile browser and log in to your STACK account
  2. Create or open the desired project
  3. Tap Upload Document
  4. Tap the three dots to reveal more options
  5. Select the option you need:
📷 Camera – to take photos/videos on the spot
📁 Upload – to add files already on your phone

📌 Pro Tip:
To upload multiple photos you’ve already taken, tap Upload Document, then choose Local File > Photo Library, and select your images. You’ll see a thumbnail-style preview under the Overview tab.

Keeping everything tied to the right project means everyone stays in the loop and no critical info slips through the cracks.

Let STACK be your one-stop doc spot. 🙌

These are great tips!  Being able to upload all files pertaining to that project is huge!  With STACK being Cloud based, there is unlimited storage as well!

This is a great use case for STACK! You can take your site walks even farther with the offline capabilities in the STACK mobile application, STACK Build & Operate!

Food for thought; Other than adding document uploads, I’d like to see an option to add a link. For example, our firm uses CompanyCam so I’d like to be able to add a link to the Supporting Documents for easy reference. Adding it to the “Project Notes” just gets buried over time as you add more notes.
