No Plans? No Problem!

Don’t have drawings or measurements to work from? No worries — you can still build your estimate in STACK without using any takeoff tools. Here’s how:

• Skip the drawings. You don’t need to upload or measure anything. Just jump straight into your Estimate Worksheet.
• Add your takeoffs manually.
  • Create or add your takeoffs in the project like you normally would.
  • Go back to the estimate worksheet and type in your Measured Quantity (that’s your main measurement).
• Let STACK do the math.
  • The quantities you enter feed right into your items and assemblies.
  • STACK will use your existing formulas and productivity rates to convert those measured quantities into purchase quantities automatically.
• Use what you’ve already got.
  • No need to recreate anything — your current items and assemblies still work the same way.

So even without plans, you can still get accurate results and keep your estimating process moving!
