Does anyone else need the ability to subtract negative areas from your area takeoffs?

This is obviously not a common request because I have been asking Stack for this feature for 6 years now, multiple times, and it has yet to be introduced.

So a perfect example is in image below. I need to calculate the square footage of the brick needed below. it takes me a few seconds to do an area take-off of the building, but then I have to go and cut-out each of the 41 exact sized windows which is a horrible waste of time and totally mind-numbing. I once had a building that had 280 exact sized windows that needed cutting out.

If we had the ability to do an area takeoff of one of the windows, then multiply it by 280 times and then apply that as a subtraction to the brick area takeoff, something that takes a good many hours could be achieved in a couple of minutes.

This would be an extremely useful feature.

This is not your requested solution but it seems easier than cutting out the windows.  I made an Item that was 1 Each = -10SF.  I did an area take off for the “Brick” and then did a count take off for the “Windows” with this item applied.  In the estimate worksheet it showed the brick SF and the negative SF for the windows.  Obviously, this would require you to make an item for each window size you are deducting.
