Epicor Eagle Import
Is anyone in the community using Epicor Eagle as an ERP and POS system? Documentation is less than stellar, and I’m wondering what kind of file I need to create in order to dump a Stack report in.

I understand the frustration with Epicor Eagle's documentation—it's notoriously sparse and often buried in the Eagle Customer Portal or outdated help files, making integrations like this feel like guesswork. Based on available resources (including Eagle's import tools and common practices for construction/retail ERP integrations), I'll break down how to "dump" (export and import) a STACK report into Eagle. This typically involves exporting from STACK in a compatible format, then using Eagle's import utilities to load it as inventory updates, estimates, or sales data.
STACK Estimating excels at generating detailed reports (e.g., material takeoffs, assemblies, bids) in formats like CSV, Excel, or PDF, which can feed into Eagle for inventory, quoting, or order entry. Eagle supports imports for these via tools like Inventory Import Designer (for item updates) or ESTU Import (for special orders/estimates). The most straightforward path is CSV for general data dumps, as it's flexible and aligns with Eagle's "Category Pricing Plan (CPP)" and inventory tools.
If this doesn't match your exact STACK report type (e.g., labor vs. materials), share more details for a refined spec. CSV should get you 80% there—let me know how the test import goes!

As a former technical writer (software documentation in particular), I have a very difficult time coming to terms with what they’ve decided were “good enough,” docs...
I just need Epicor’s import format. I can’t find the ESTU format anywhere. I figured it was just a text file. CSV would work for me too.
I can’t even find an import button in Point of Sale though, just some Professional Estimate Importer app buried in the Eagle Browser.
