Hack for Adding Count to Lineal
I want the option of having concealed hangers on the first and last floor joists. [MeasuredLinear]*0+2 and [MeasuredLinear]*0+4 (in case there are hangers on one or both ends of the joists). For both, I had to make a separate item (LUC210Z-alt) but the Accounting code is still LUC210Z for both items.
Curious if anyone's got a better way though - I just figured if I had it in the floor joist assembly this way, I could do it all in one step, or not do it by leaving this option set to None.

Craig Parker You are on the right track to split them out across multiple items that way you can pick and choose depending on your takeoff needs :)
Perhaps the count you are hoping for is already there. All assembly formulas are calculated at the measurement level. If you don't provide a takeoff variable, we automatically use MeasuredCount. What you have here effectively does the same thing. The MeasuredLinear*0 ends up having no effect.
To be clear, every time you double click to complete a measurement, the count is 1. So, your formula could just say MeasuredCount*2, or just 2. Try it out and let us know how it works.
This is on a measured lineal though - I don't see how to add two of something to such a takeoff.
