We’re excited to share STACK Assist (Beta) — an AI-powered chat tool that helps you quickly find answers in your uploaded plan documents. Think of it like an on-demand estimator: ask a construction question and STACK Assist will pull the answer directly from the searchable text in your plans (no more flipping through dozens of sheets).

✅ What it’s great for

• Structural framing requirements
• Wall / partition schedules & wall type definitions
• Drywall specs
• Insulation requirements & R-values
• Fire-rated / sound-rated assemblies
• Ceiling heights by room
• Blocking requirements
• Doors/windows in structural walls

⚠️ Important limitations (so expectations are clear)

• Text only: it can’t interpret drawings/images/symbols/hatches or scanned sheets without a clean text layer
• Plans only: Supporting Documents aren’t included in responses
• No in-app actions: it won’t create takeoffs, edit projects, or modify estimates
• Conversations reset when you leave the project (switch projects, open Libraries/Settings, log out)
