How to Save Time by Duplicating measurements and using our Change Takeoff Feature

If you have multiple windows on an elevation view or if your ceiling and flooring has the same square footage then why not duplicate the measurements and associate them with their corresponding takeoff to save time?! I’ll share the steps below:

1. Create a takeoff and create your measurements
2. Select your measurement or measurements
3. In the right-hand toolbar,  select “Edit” followed by “Copy”, and lastly select “Paste” or you can use your keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste your measurements by (Ctrl + C then Ctrl+ V)
4. Observe your pasted Measurement that is selected
5. In the right-hand toolbar,  select “Change Takeoff” and associate the measurement with your desired takeoff (to be more efficient, use Ctrl+Q to generate the change takeoff menu)
