Where is the page/sheet navigator (the arrows)? Why has this update decreased productivity so much?
I am personally finding proposals are taking minimum 10% longer than the previous version of Stack. For example where have the page navigation arrows gone?
Here is another example (of many) as to how this update has slowed me down immensly. Previously I would do the takeoffs without giving much attention to the takeoff names because firstly, I need to request quotes asap, and secondly I end up giving a lot more thought to the names because I need to reorder them in logical order by adding numbers in front of the names. The drag and reorder function on left sidebar is useless because it doesnt export to Excel in that order. So once quotes are received and after adding items in Libraries, it was just a simple task of clicking on the takeoff in left sidebar, changing the name and adding the item. If its an item thats already in Library, I would add it to the takeoff and simply click on the item, and it would open in Libraries where I could check if the pricing is up-to-the-minute and correct.
Now its an absolute nightmare! To add an item to the takeoff or rename the takeoff, you can't simply click on the takeoff in side bar. You now have to click on the 3 dots, scroll down and click on “Edit Settings”. The same with checking if the item is correctly priced. Instead of just clicking on the item, you now have to click on the 3 dots and then scroll down and click on “Open in Library”. This may not seem like a lot of extra work, but I am a perfectionist, hence why I am a decent enough estimator. I invariably end up re-sorting the order of my takeoffs by renaming them multiple times, until I am happy with the order it gets exported to Excel. Also once done, I like to click on every takeoff and check that each take off has the correct items allocated to it. Something that used to take maybe 5 mins on an average estimate, easily now takes 20 mins.
Why are we going backwards with Stack instead of forwards. Should'nt an update increase our productivity rather than decrease it?

1. We are working through a bug ticket that has pushed the navigation buttons to the right for a number of screen-sizes. Alternatively, you can decrease the browser zoom level to view the buttons again. We will e-mail you when we have an update regarding this function in STACK
2. With the recent update, you are now able to click on the takeoff icon in the takeoff list or the takeoff icon in the right hand panel while measuring (screenshot below) to quickly go to the takeoff settings which allows you to one click into the takeoff settings to modify your takeoff name or add/modify items.

Thanks for your reply and the icon function is a life saver. I wish you had the old chat to support icon that was there since I started 9 years back, I would have found this out way sooner.
Now please (please, please) bring back that the item name is clickable and automatically opens up in library as per previous version, and then we are back to normal. No harm in keeping it in 3 dots too if that helps some, but I cant see any reason why the item name cant have a hyperlink.
